The idea of the study was to find out whether this enzyme prevents migraines or not. Patients in tertiary care who lacked CoQ10 enzymes were picked for the study. There were 1550 participants, who were given 3 mg/kg CoQ10 in the form of capsules. A few patients returned for a follow up in 97 days and reported that their headache frequency had decreased greatly from 19.2 +/- 10.0 to 12.5 +/- 10.8.
